Georgetown residents obtain their required three months of pediatric neurology training at Children’s National Medical Center. CNMC has a excellent Neurology department with more than 30 pediatric neurologist. The department was recently ranked #4 in the country by U.S. News & World Report2.CNMC Neurology sees about 2,500 patients every year inpatient and also a large number of patients through outpatient services2. The Georgetown residents rotate on the inpatient ward, PICU, NICU, and outpatient clinic. With multiple Pediatric Neurology Fellows each year and such talented attendings, residents will experience excellent education in Pediatric Neurology through their time here.
